Amy McDonald is a 30+ year health, wellness and sustainability expert who merges the best in resort hospitality and urban healthcare into integrated business models. A widely recognized and sought after innovator in transformational health and wellness programming, she is an expert in merging the best of resort hospitality with functional, integrative medicine into holistic models.Over the last 14 years, working with a diverse blend of seasoned industry experts, Amy leads teams through concept development and execution on an array of projects with national and global brands such as Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Starwood Capital Group, Cirque du Soleil, Watermark Retirement Communities to ensure that relevant health and wellness services and facilities are designed to support innovative programming and services. She is also a frequent guest speaker on health and wellness trends, sustainability and merging healthcare with hospitality.


Sue Adkins

Spa & Wellness Program Expert

Sue Adkins brings over 30-years of experience in the wellness programming and hospitality industry with a background focused in operations and development. For 17 years Sue worked at Miraval Resort & Spa in Arizona in several management capacities. As the Director of Programs she provided leadership, staff training, program development, and brand/culture direction for this award winning destination spa. As a consultant, she is sought out for her unique perspective on the wellness market and ability to create meaningful experiences that embrace a sense of place and allow the guest to flourish while growing revenue opportunities.

Caroline Gey

Business Strategist

Carolin has over 24 years of experience in European health care and wellness having been involved in multiple projects including Unavicum Germany, which includes Health Care Centers located in Kassel and Berlin, Germany; as well as the Wellness Center Cote d’Azur, Monaco. She led the growth of several businesses in new markets in healthcare, wellness and sports industries, for example bringing MBT from Switzerland to North America, and Bikeboard from Switzerland to the United States and worldwide. Common to these companies is her international focus, company management, concept and product development, national and international distribution, and branding.


Terri Erin

Pre-Opening and Employee Recruitment Support Expert

Terri brings a diverse and comprehensive skill set to the Under a Tree team. With a 16 year tenure at Canyon Ranch, Terri has managed a multitude of projects in her Executive, Corporate, and Development roles. These roles include being a member of the Canyon Ranch Executive Leadership Committee, where she managed a variety of operational projects at the corporate level.

With two bachelor’s degrees- one in Psychology and one in interior design (graduating Summa cum laude with a sustainable design emphasis)- and being a LEED® Accredited Professional, Alisa encourages an intuitive flow to project evolution with an awareness of the implications of mental, emotional, physical and spiritual elements to developing wellness and healing centers.

Loree Thompson

Financial Analyst & Business Strategist

Loree Thompson began her career in the public accounting arena working for Ernst and Young in the audit and computer systems audit areas which provided exposure to many industries, including healthcare. She pursued this interest through joining Community Care Network, a non-profit entity that coordinated State and Federal funding for the behavioral health industry. Her career led her to Tucson where she spent 14 years working with NextHealth and their two internationally recognized subsidiary companies, Sierra Tucson, a state of the art Behavioral and Psychiatric hospital and Miraval, Life in Balance Resort and Spa.

Resort/ Destination Spa Concept & Operations Expert

As Chief Operating Officer of 360 Pacifica and Chief Executive Officer with 360 AMI Corp., Mark Grenoble oversees all Operations related activities; this includes Planning, Underwriting, Project Management, Strategic Financial Planning and Asset Management Teams in both Real Estate and Infrastructure. Mark sits on the Company’s Executive Management Committee as well as the Company’s Board of Directors. Mark joined 360 VOX (Dundee 360) in 2011, and as Chief Operating Officer had responsibility for overall Corporate Operations including; 360 Developments, 360 AMI (Asset Management), Blueprint Global, 360’s Hospitality Group (Enchantment Resorts) and Sotheby’s International Real Estate Canada.
